Description
Healthy vision is attained through healthy eyes. So if an individual would like to maintain good eyesight even as they age it is important to practice both good health habits and preventative measures.

Statistical studies show the following:
17% of Americans ages 45 or older have some type of vision impairment.  The percentage rises as the individual ages.   The American Academy of Ophthalmology reports staggering statistics about loss of vision; every few seconds someone in the world goes blind while every minute a child loses their vision.
